01 / My story

It started close to home.

I'm originally from Costa Rica and moved to the United States at 13. Today, I call Upstate South Carolina home. Moving between languages and communities has shaped how I communicate, lead, and approach my work.

At my family's painting business, I learned that good work also needs clear estimates, organized schedules, and conversations that build trust. Creating its website connected those everyday business needs with my interest in design and marketing.

That experience became Segura's Solutions. Today, I'm building websites for small businesses and campus organizations while studying Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing & Sales at Spartanburg Methodist College.

Currently building / Senior capstone

More local businesses. More ways to connect.

For my senior capstone, I'm building affordable bilingual websites through Segura's Solutions for two Hispanic-owned businesses and one parish. The goal is to help visitors understand what each client offers, find useful details, and get in touch.

Confirmed advisory partners: Dr. Araceli Hernández-Laroche, Christian Bryant, Evelyn Lugo, Ramón Nieves-Lugo, and Yashuri Del Rosario Rodríguez.

The usability goal is for at least 8 of 9 participants to independently find a specified service or parish detail and a way to contact the client. Existing portfolio websites are separate from the three new capstone websites.

11 / Beyond the work

Still me, off the clock.

Soccer, running, photography, and my Costa Rican roots are a big part of who I am.

I'm a Barcelona and Messi fan, a former college soccer player, and someone who enjoys staying active. Photography gives me another way to stay connected to sports while learning a different side of the game.

I learn best by doing. That is part of why I enjoy building a website, helping organize an event, or working through a real business problem. Family and community remain at the center of where I want to take that experience.

From Costa Rica At home in Upstate South Carolina

A little taste of home Casado and olla de carne are favorites.

12 / Let's connect

A conversation is a good start.

A business idea, a creative project, or a connection in the community. I'd be glad to hear from you in English or Spanish.
